Rep. Jim Jordan Challenges DOJ Over Biden Document Handling Inquiry

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to Joe Biden and the Department of Justice. He’s got some big concerns about how the DOJ is handling President Biden’s handling of classified documents, and he’s not afraid to say it.

Appearing on Fox News’s Hannity, Jordan didn’t hold back, criticizing the DOJ’s decision not to hand over interviews with Biden that were subpoenaed. These interviews were a big deal, conducted during a special counsel’s investigation into classified documents that Biden had in his possession. The special counsel found that Biden didn’t have a “mental state of willfulness” when it came to his handling of classified documents, basically saying he didn’t mean to do anything wrong. And because of that, they decided not to indict him. But Jordan thinks the American people deserve to hear those interviews anyway.

And he’s not stopping there. Jordan’s pointing out what he sees as a double standard when it comes to how Democrats have been treated over mishandling classified information. He brings up Hillary Clinton and President Trump, saying they both had concerns about how they handled classified info, but they weren’t charged. But Biden, who Jordan says wasn’t charged either, is still being put under the microscope. And Jordan’s not having it. He’s calling foul, saying it’s not the way it’s supposed to work here in the good ol’ U.S. of A.

But he’s not just throwing shade at Biden. Jordan’s also got his sights set on Biden’s ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer, who wrote Biden’s 2017 memoir, Promise Me, Dad. Jordan’s raised concerns about the book’s $8 million in sales, suggesting there might be a motive for Biden to share classified details with Zwonitzer.

This all comes after testimony that the White House counsel had a chance to look at a report before it was released, raising even more questions about how things have been handled behind the scenes.

So, Jordan’s not letting this one go. He wants answers, and he’s not afraid to ask the tough questions, even if it means ruffling a few feathers along the way. The American people deserve to know what’s really going on, and Jordan’s not about to let anyone forget it.
