Former President Donald Trump pulled no punches while eviscerating Vice President Kamala Harris’ so-called accomplishments during her four-year tenure in office. With a direct eye on the key issues facing Americans today, Trump held court at Mar-a-Lago, surrounded by individuals who have felt the brunt of Biden and Harris’s disastrous policies. The former president argued that Harris has failed on crucial fronts such as immigration, the economy, trade, and foreign policy, particularly regarding the open border debacle.
In typical Trump fashion, he made it clear that should he reclaim the presidency, his administration would take aggressive action against criminal cartels by seizing their assets. This money, he claimed, would be used to set up a compensation fund for the victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants. With Harris getting ready to make her speech in D.C., Trump painted a grim picture of her performance by declaring that she has “obliterated our borders” and left the middle class in tatters. At the same time, inflation has spiraled out of control. He even went so far as to say that the chaos of the current administration has spilled over into a global disaster.

Trump’s last-minute address was strategically timed to precede Harris’s campaign event, which was billed by her team as a pivotal moment in her candidacy. As Election Day looms just a week away, both campaigns are engaged in a high-stakes battle. Harris’s campaign chairwoman attempted to emit positivity by reminding voters of the impact a president can have—good or bad—on the nation. But Trump, surrounded by signs proclaiming that “Trump will fix it!” was focused on the dismal record of Harris and her boss, as he highlighted the number of convicted migrants released during their administration.
During his speech, he didn’t hold back in his scathing critique of Harris, labeling her a “train wreck” and “incompetent,” especially regarding illegal immigration policies. Trump pointed out the heartbreaking stories of families, including mothers who lost their loved ones at the hands of migrants released under Biden-Harris rules, and contrasted this with how he had dealt with the Taliban during his presidency. While Trump was instilling fear in the enemy, Harris’s team was reportedly running misleading ads that twisted the narrative about Trump’s agenda.
As he championed his campaign, the former president underscored that voters increasingly align with the GOP due to their commitment to common sense policies, such as fighting for strong borders and fair elections, while opposing the absurdities of allowing men to compete in women’s sports. With early voting numbers favorable for Trump, he staunchly declared his determination to “fight like hell” for the next seven days. Should he secure victory, he vowed to work even harder for the ensuing four years to restore America’s greatness, declaring the ambition to make the nation better than it has ever been.
