However, it’s worth noting that a mere three short years ago, Biden garnered 87 percent of black men. Meanwhile, Trump’s support among black women in the same state saw a six-point bump, while the self-proclaimed progressive icon Harris lost equal ground. This unexpected shift in demographics shows that Trump’s appeal is widening, and the so-called consensus on race could be heading for a shake-up.
NBC’s exit polling in Wisconsin reveals yet another monumental shift. Trump’s black support more than doubled, jumping from a paltry 8 percent in 2020 to a respectable 20 percent in the most recent outing.
