In a move that is sure to thrill liberals and make conservatives cringe, the Biden administration has announced yet another giveaway. This time, it’s hundreds of thousands of student loan borrowers who will have their debt magically disappear. I guess the Biden-Harris Administration thinks money grows on trees.

According to U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, the current student loan system is broken and has failed borrowers for far too long. In an attempt to “fix” this broken system, the administration will be forgiving a whopping $39 billion in debt for 804,000 borrowers. It’s like winning the lottery, but without having to buy a ticket!
But let’s not be fooled by the administration’s attempts to paint themselves as heroes here. This is nothing more than a political move to score points with young voters. They want to be seen as the champions of higher education, but in reality, they’re just using taxpayer dollars to buy votes.
And what about the hardworking Americans who have already paid off their student loans? Where’s their reward? It’s unfair to punish those who took responsibility for their debts and paid them off on time. But I guess personal responsibility doesn’t matter anymore in the Biden era.
This announcement is just another example of the Biden administration’s reckless spending habits. They seem to think they can solve every problem by throwing money at it. But who’s going to foot the bill? That’s right, the American taxpayers. It’s like they’re playing a never-ending game of Monopoly with our money.
It’s time for conservatives to stand up and say enough is enough. We can’t continue down this path of unsustainable spending and handouts. We need leaders who understand the value of hard work and personal responsibility, not those who think they can buy votes with taxpayer dollars. It’s time for a change.
