In a baffling move that has conservatives scratching their heads, President Joe Biden has apparently agreed to send billions of dollars to the Iranian regime in exchange for the release of five American prisoners. But before we get too excited about their return, it turns out they won’t actually be coming home. No, instead they will be shuffled around from detention to house arrest. Wow, what a deal!
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who actually knows a thing or two about dealing with Iran, is not happy about this. And can you blame him? It’s mind-boggling to think that we’re handing over billions of dollars to a country that regularly sponsors terrorism against our own troops in the Middle East. But hey, I guess Biden is more interested in appeasing our enemies than protecting our own citizens.

Of course, the Biden administration is trying to spin this as a humanitarian gesture. They claim that the influx of cash will be used for things like food and medical supplies. But let’s not be naive here. We all know that Iran has a long history of using humanitarian aid as a cover to fund their terrorist activities. And now we’re giving them even more money to play with. Brilliant.
It’s clear that Biden once again is putting the interests of other nations ahead of our own. Instead of standing up to Iran and demanding the release of our citizens with no strings attached, he’s caving to their demands and sending them a hefty sum of cash. It’s no wonder that conservatives are questioning his commitment to keeping America safe.
We were promised a tough approach on Iran, but it seems like we’re just going back to the failed Obama-era appeasement tactics. It’s a shame that Biden is undoing all the progress that was made under the Trump administration. We need a leader who will put America first and not pander to our enemies. Unfortunately, we’re not getting that with Joe Biden.
