Late developments have shed more light on the corruption allegations on Hunter Biden, the son of current president Joe Biden. According to former CIA acting director Michael Morell’s testimony to Congress, current Secretary of State Antony Blinken played a pivotal role in getting a letter signed by officials claiming that the stories coming out about Hunter Biden’s dubious business dealings were “Russian disinformation.” Morell asked U.S. intelligence members to sign the letter on Blinken’s behalf, suggesting his direct involvement in the cover-up. This revelation is significant given that Blinken was a top member of Biden’s presidential campaign at the time.

Recently, House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan stated that there is more evidence coming up on the issue that will give the Hunter Biden scandal even more weight. Jordan is reportedly pursuing information from Secretary Blinken and will have interrogations with former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who were part of the 51 U.S. intelligence officials who signed the letter claiming the news about Biden’s controversy as Russian propaganda.
The mainstream media quickly suppressed the New York Post story, which was based on evidence found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, during Biden’s 2020 bid for the presidency. Big Tech giants like Facebook and Twitter banned their users from sharing the Post article on their platforms. They joined 51 U.S. intelligence officials in signing a letter claiming the story was part of a Russian disinformation campaign before evidence showed otherwise. However, it seems the suppression played a massive role in the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, according to polls.
The manipulation of information gave Biden an unfair advantage during his presidential campaign and raises serious questions about the integrity of the entire electoral process. With new evidence emerging every day, it further reinforces the urgency to investigate these allegations and hold the wrongdoers to account. Biden and his campaign should be fully transparent and cooperate in unmasking the truth. The cover-up, lies, and misinformation must stop to ensure that democracy survives in America.
