Dissent is not tolerated in the Democratic Party, as we can see from the recent ousting of Representative Dean Phillips for daring to question Joe Biden’s fitness for office. It seems that if you step out of line and express any doubts about the party’s chosen leader, you will be swiftly punished.

Phillips, a Democrat from Minnesota, resigned from his position as co-chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Caucus (DPCC), stating that his differences with the party on Biden were too great to ignore. But let’s be real, folks, we all know the real reason he stepped down was because he was probably threatened into submission by the party elites.
I have decided to step down from the DPCC & Democratic Caucus leadership. While politics & official work do not mix, it’s clear my convictions about 2024 are incongruent with the position of my colleagues & that was causing discomfort. I was not pressured or forced to resign. 1/2

The fact that Phillips felt the need to distance himself from the party during this critical time speaks volumes. It’s clear that Biden’s mental decline is becoming harder and harder to ignore, and even some Democrats are starting to question his ability to lead. Phillips was reportedly reprimanded in a closed-door meeting, and even received applause from his fellow Democrats when he was called out for not being “on message” about Biden. This kind of groupthink is dangerous and shows just how far the party is willing to go to enforce its narrative.
In the end, it’s clear that Phillips was forced out of his leadership position. The Democrats couldn’t tolerate someone questioning their chosen one, so they made him kiss the ring and step aside. It’s a chilling reminder of the kind of power the Democratic Party wants to wield, and it should make all Americans question what they would do if given absolute control.
