With apologies to FDR, the conservative news outlet brings to light the horrifying scenes that unfolded in Israel on a quiet Saturday morning. Instead of enjoying their weekend chores or looking forward to college football games, Americans were forced to face the reality of Israelis running for their lives in the aftermath of a devastating attack by Hamas militants.
These sneaky terrorists launched a coordinated assault on Israel’s southern border, launching thousands of deadly rockets that overwhelmed the country’s Iron Dome missile defense system. Panic ensued as men, women, and children sought refuge in bomb shelters and safe rooms, desperate to escape the relentless onslaught.
As if the rocket attacks weren’t enough, Hamas militants also breached the “smart walls” designed to protect against tunnels and flooded into Israeli territory. Some even used motorized hang gliders to invade and mercilessly target defenseless civilians. The Defense Minister rightly branded Hamas as “the face of evil” in the wake of these cowardly attacks.
However, it comes as no surprise that left-leaning media outlets like CNN and MSNBC turned a blind eye to the true horrors of these attacks. Rather than focusing on the images of elderly women and children being beaten and dragged into Gaza, these news channels resorted to blaming Israel for not seeing the attack coming or suggesting that it was a reaction to Israel’s occupation of the West Bank. It’s outrageous to downplay the barbarism and subhuman behavior of these terrorists by labeling it as a mere “reaction.”
But amidst this chaos, former President Donald J. Trump stepped up to remind Americans of President Biden’s weak and ineffective approach, including transferring $6 billion in embargoed funds to Iran. Trump emphasized that he would have never allowed such aggression to occur and vowed to crush this act of savagery.

While Biden made a vague statement of support for Israel on television, it pales in comparison to the sentiment expressed by a popular t-shirt sold in Israel: “Don’t worry America. Israel has your back.” It’s a stark reminder of Biden’s failed leadership and the erosion of America’s standing in the world.
Instead of questioning the Israeli government’s ability to predict the attack or rallying behind groups like the Democratic Socialists of America, who shamefully honored the attacks, right-thinking Americans should stand united with Israel. It’s a time to offer financial support to the wounded and those who have lost their loved ones. Israel is facing one of its darkest hours since the Yom Kippur war in 1973, and it’s crucial that we lend our support to the only democracy in the Middle East.
Conservative radio host Mike Gallagher is leading the charge in providing emergency funds to those affected in Israel. Partnering with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Gallagher is urging Americans to donate directly to their emergency relief campaign through his website. Every dollar raised will go towards providing security, basic needs, psychological aid, and any other emergencies that arise.
In times like these, it’s better to light a candle than curse the darkness. Despite the hardships faced by Americans, just imagine waking up to the sound of rockets and armed terrorists breaking into your home.
