The Republican lawmaker leading the charge in investigating the House select committee’s work reveals shocking findings. According to Rep. Barry Loudermilk, the committee responsible for investigating the Capitol riot has done a terrible job preserving crucial evidence. And guess what? Those missing pieces just happen to include communications with the Biden White House. Gee, what a coincidence!

Now, I don’t know about you, but when an investigation fails to keep track of important documents, data, and video depositions, it raises some red flags. And as Fox News reported, the now-defunct “J6” committee, which was shamefully dominated by Democrats with only a token two GOP members, has utterly failed on multiple fronts.
Loudermilk, chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the Committee on House Administration, rightfully points out that the J6 investigation completely ignored the Capitol Hill security failures that led to the riot. I mean, it’s like they don’t even care about holding those responsible accountable!
But it gets even worse. Loudermilk’s team’s probe into Representative Bennie Thompson’s handling of the J6 investigation has been hindered by a lack of information. Can you believe it? They were given a bunch of disorganized boxes full of unindexed data. Not the type of meticulous investigation we would expect, huh?
And what’s this about the “Blue Team” being shut down? Loudermilk suggests that the committee intentionally silenced the Blue Team because they wanted to blame it all on former President Trump. It’s a classic tactic, folks. Instead of getting to the truth, they play politics and try to score political points. Disgusting.
To add insult to injury, the committee is missing crucial videos of depositions. I mean, seriously, how can you investigate something properly if you don’t even have the basic evidence to support your claims? It’s beyond comprehension.
Oh, and guess what else? When approached by a defense attorney seeking access to important information, the committee realized they didn’t have what he was looking for. Talk about unprepared and incompetent.
Letters exchanged between Loudermilk and Thompson only confirm the chaos and confusion surrounding the committee’s preservation of evidence. It seems they can’t even agree on whether or not they fulfilled their obligations. Thompson tried to claim they provided “4 terabytes” of material, but Loudermilk asserts they only received a measly 2.5 gigabytes. Someone is clearly not telling the truth here.
Overall, it’s abundantly clear that the J6 committee has failed in its duty to preserve and present crucial evidence. Their lackluster efforts, disorganization, and apparent manipulation of the investigation only serve to protect their own partisan interests. It’s a disgrace, and the American people deserve better. Hopefully, the truth will eventually prevail, and those responsible for the Capitol riot will be held accountable, regardless of their political affiliations.
