Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia criticized Hunter Biden's lawyers after they told the Daily Caller that if he is charged with illegally possessing a gun, they would argue that it is unconstitutional. In an interview with the news outlet, the outspoken lawmaker called the argument laughable.

Representing gun owners' rights, Greene argued that Hunter Biden's alleged act of discarding his firearm in a trash container was not within the scope of his constitutional right to keep and bear arms. She stated that such conduct was not within the purview of the Second Amendment.
The DOJ is still investigating Hunter Biden's 2018 gun purchase, as it's believed that he denied being a drug user when he bought the firearm. His eligibility for acquiring the weapon was in doubt.
According to the Daily Caller, Hunter Biden's lawyers informed the Department of Justice that they intend to rely on a Second Amendment ruling to defend him. However, according to Biden, the ruling goes against the Constitution and common sense.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, criticized Biden's lawyers for relying on the Supreme Court's ruling in support of their client. She called it both hypocritical and a joke. She demanded that those who break the law be held accountable.
The investigation regarding Biden's gun purchase is expected to conclude soon. Regardless of the outcome, Greene will continue to defend the Second Amendment rights of Americans.
