Pentagon’s Shocking Decision: Suspends Partnerships with Coup-Backed Countries!

The Pentagon is back at it again, making decisions that leave conservatives shaking their heads. According to The Washington Post, the Defense Department has suspended military partnerships with countries that have been implicated in coups and human rights abuses. It’s about time they realize that we shouldn’t be associating ourselves with these kinds of countries in the first place.

The plans that were revealed to Congress in October outlined joint exercises with several African nations, some of which are under legal bans from receiving U.S. security assistance. But fear not, fellow conservatives, because the Pentagon says they never intended to partner with these countries anyway. They just conveniently left them off the list without providing any explanation. Bravo, guys.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Shouldn’t the Pentagon have known about these legal bans and taken them into account from the beginning? Well, apparently, they just decided to wing it and hope nobody noticed. Classic move, Pentagon.

But don’t worry, our Democratic friends decided to step in and pressure the Biden administration to suspend partnerships with these offending countries. Because nothing says effective foreign policy like sending strongly worded letters. I’m sure the coups and human rights abuses will come to a screeching halt now.

It’s truly mind-boggling that the Pentagon would even consider working with countries that have participated in coups and committed severe abuses, including extrajudicial killings. It’s a good thing us conservatives have some common sense and can see through their ridiculous decision-making.

Now, the Pentagon is saying that they suspended the joint exercises due to “legal and/or policy restrictions.” But what kind of restrictions are we talking about here? They conveniently left out the specifics. It’s almost as if they don’t want us to know the truth.

In the end, it’s clear that the Pentagon needs to get its act together. We shouldn’t be partnering with countries that have such blatant disregard for democracy and human rights. Let’s hope they finally learn their lesson and start prioritizing American values and interests.
