Trump’s playful insinuation pokes fun at Harris’s past solicitation of donations for the Minneapolis Freedom Fund, which was known to fund the release of those who participated in the riots. It’s as if Trump effortlessly laid bare the twisted priorities that mark the current Democratic agenda.
In a world where political optics matter, skipping a charity event for a snack-filled communion isn’t likely to win Harris any friends—unless, of course, those friends are fellow radical leftists. With much of America still wondering what Harris was thinking, one thing is clear: Trump’s humor shines a light on the contrast between his commitment to traditional values and the bizarre antics of the current administration. Perhaps it’s time for Harris to prioritize her charitable commitments before more Doritos are dished out in the name of “communion.”
