What the military executed was the hard, painstaking work of preparation and capability that prior administrations failed to maintain.
Let no one fool you — this was not a political stunt but the application of overwhelming American power at the moment it was required. The president directed a surgical, risky effort to remove a direct threat to our cities and allies, and our air crews and technology performed under pressure to do it. That readiness and resolve are what keeps terrorists and rogue regimes off-balance and prevents decades of death and chaos.
