In a shocking turn of events, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, an apparent tyrant in the making, has issued a public health order banning the concealed and open carry of firearms in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. Can you believe it? Taking away law-abiding citizens’ right to protect themselves? This is a direct assault on our Second Amendment rights, folks!
But luckily, not all law enforcement officials are willing to bow down to the governor’s unconstitutional demands. Sheriff John Allen of the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office has spoken up, admitting that he has reservations about this outrageous order. And he’s absolutely right to be concerned! This ban is a direct challenge to our Constitution, the very foundation of our great nation.

Sheriff Allen understands the importance of upholding our rights and protecting our communities. He doesn’t want to put his deputies in a position where they could face civil liability conflicts or prevent law-abiding citizens from exercising their constitutional right to self-defense. This man truly understands the meaning of public service!
Not only is Sheriff Allen standing up for our rights, but he’s also actively working to tackle gun crime in his county. Targeting convicted felons in possession of firearms is just one of the many steps his office has taken to combat this issue, and he’s committed to finding sustainable solutions to the gun violence epidemic. That’s the kind of leadership we need in these troubled times!
Meanwhile, Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina seems to have forgotten where his loyalties should lie. Instead of prioritizing the safety and freedom of his fellow citizens, he’s playing lapdog to the governor’s unconstitutional order. It’s truly disappointing to see someone in a position of power so willingly surrender to the whims of an overreaching government.
But fear not, patriots! We can’t let these infringements on our rights go unchecked. We must stand with Sheriff Allen and fight back against this assault on our Second Amendment. Our right to bear arms is not up for negotiation, and we won’t let power-hungry politicians like Governor Lujan Grisham take that away from us. Stay vigilant and never be afraid to defend your freedoms!
