The murder of left-wing activist and self-described Antifa member Ryan Carson and his girlfriend, Claudia Morales, has been widely discussed and debated. While the details surrounding the murder and Morales’ alleged refusal to cooperate with the police remain unconfirmed, there is another aspect of this story that caught the attention of conservatives: the GoFundMe page set up for Morales.
Typically, GoFundMe pages are created to help cover funeral expenses and support the family of the deceased. However, this particular page asked for donations to help Morales and her friends grieve properly. Yes, you read that right. They wanted money so they could mourn the way they wanted to mourn. How selfish can you get?
It’s no surprise that some people actually fell for this ridiculous request, as the page has raised nearly $73,000. It’s a prime example of the narcissism displayed by many so-called “social justice advocates.” They always want to be noticed and admired for their supposed selflessness, but they fail to see how their actions are anything but selfless.
In reality, their “need” to virtue signal and demand attention is all about them, not the actual cause they claim to fight for. It’s absolutely ghoulish and shows just how out of touch they are with the real needs of America. We shouldn’t be giving our hard-earned money to people who think mourning requires a hefty financial contribution.
Overall, this GoFundMe page is just another example of the self-centered and self-righteous nature of the left. They never miss an opportunity to exploit a tragedy for their personal gain and to push their radical agenda. It’s sickening, to say the least.
