White House Denies Ransom, Helps Iran Access Blocked Assets!

The White House is once again trying to pull a fast one on the American people, claiming that the unfreezing of $6 billion in Iranian assets is not a ransom. Oh no, it’s just making those assets “more accessible.” Give me a break!

According to White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby, they are just talking about taking an account that Iran couldn’t access and making it more accessible to them. Sounds like a ransom to me. But hey, what do I know? I’m just a lowly conservative journalist trying to make sense of the madness.

Even Republican presidential candidate Mike Pence called out this shady deal, saying that Biden has authorized the largest ransom payment in American history. And you know what? He’s absolutely right. The White House can try to spin it however they want, but the fact remains that we are giving the Iranians something in exchange for the release of these detained Americans. It’s a classic case of negotiation gone wrong.

But Kirby wants us to believe that negotiations are about “giving and taking.” He claims there was no other way to get these Americans home without compromising with the Iranians. Well, I’m sorry, but I don’t buy it. We shouldn’t be negotiating with terrorists in the first place. And it certainly doesn’t excuse the fact that we are essentially giving them $6 billion.

Kirby tries to downplay the situation by saying that this is a pre-existing account set up in the previous administration. Oh, so now we’re blaming the last guy? Give me a break. The Biden administration is continuing the mistakes of the Obama administration, and the American people are the ones who will suffer the consequences.

In the end, it’s clear that this is nothing more than a ransom payment. The White House can try to sugarcoat it all they want, but the American people aren’t fooled. We know a bad deal when we see one, and this is definitely a bad deal. It’s time for the Biden administration to put America first and stop playing games with our national security.
